I picked up a set of Soros Ventube replacements for the Cessna juice can vents. The installation doesn’t look like a HUGE deal, but it does appear there are a couple of holes to drill. It also appears I may have to detach the V brace (C-185) to get the old ones out and the news ones in. I have an A&P lined up for supervision and paperwork. So….
Have you done this? Is it a big deal? Is it worth doing? I’m sure the $500 ones are better, but I got these for $50 and suspect they’ll be more than 10% as good, and certainly better than the originals.
TIA

I was able to install them in a C-170B with the V-brace installed. Your mileage may vary, but it was easy peasy.
