I want to go someplace neat for the second week of October. My thought is to head south. Check into the country at San Felipe. Full moon is on the 6th and you know the the strip a Alfonsinas can be underwater at high tide two or three days either side of a full and a new moon. So the 11nth of October should be OK. http://www.bajaquest.com/sidetrips/sidetrip15.htm
The second night will be at Punta Sanfrancisquito. Great spot. http://members.tripod.com/bobbyjones_3/ Probably spend the next night there also. Might be a good idea to spend Sat night at Hotel Sorenidad and chow down on there world famous pig roast. http://www.baja-web.com/mulege/serenidad.htm
Meling ranch http://www.skypark.org/MelingRanch.htm is a good idea for Sunday night then fly home on Monday.
Any takers for this south of the border adventure. I have been south on three ocations and it is a real neat experience.
The itinerary is not cast in stone but you get the idea. I think that camping is ok at most of the places that I mentioned eccept Sorenidad
