Heading up that way on Friday afternoon, will camp at AZ Minerals or thereabouts.

I couldn't make this weekend, but have been anxious to get a weekend trip to utah area soon. I would appreciate hearing about the condition of Mineral Canyon, if that is where you went.
Thanks!!

I landed at Mineral Canyon last week. The strip was dry but quite soft on both ends. It was not a problem in my skywagon with 850x6s, but did require extra power to taxi. The weather was great for mountain biking.

Camped Friday nite at Fry Canyon. The strip is in good shape, considering the clumps of bunch grass. The only problem was a coyote looking for company all da... night.

Thanks guys. There is no place prettier than SE Utah in the spring (except maybe SE Utah in the fall). I am tied up at work through most of April, but will look forward to a trip in May. I am glad to hear Mineral Canyon is useable. I had heard it had suffered from last winter's storms.
We need to schedule a backcountry pilots flying at Mineral some time soon.
Regards, Larry
