The article rightly points out the politicization of NASA. My brother works for NASA and it is amazing how much of his efforts are spent on crap to assuage the politicians. Even though my bro' works there, I don't support NASA any longer. Our broke-ass country cannot afford it.

It's really sad, because the folks who work at NASA are, for the most part, hard working and dedicated to the programs. Getting jerked around by politicians must suck greatly.
