Rutan and Branson, has the honeymoon ended? Been ten years and no commercial spaceship. I thought at $250,000 to go sub orbit would be a hard sell. "What the heck for?", I think to myself. 250 big ones for ten minutes. It's chimp change to some but the risk is there, Branson is a nut and I would NOT trust him with my life. I stopped flying Virgin Air for various reasons related to safety. Anyway I can't afford it ($$$).
...“It’s taking Branson a whole lot longer to get this launched; he’s going through a learning process,” Sierra County Manager Marc Hunt zinger said of Virgin Galactic, which is supposed to be the anchor tenant for the Spaceport. “Not only have the flights not materialized, the Spaceport is struggling to keep the lights on.” ... http://www.foxnews.com/science/2014/04/02/grounded-richard-branson-desert-launchpad-awaits-first-space-passenger/?intcmp=obnetwork
