Is this get-together still happening tonight? If so I may bring a skywagon full of kids down.

180driver, sorry I didn't see your post till today.

The dinner was last night and was fun. The dinner was more like a fundraiser for the airport. They want to buy a new snowplow and a night camera for the airport. They mentioned that the Deerhunter Pub was going to be open during the day for a $100 burger if anyone is in the neighborhood. It is just outside the entrance to the airport and an easy walk. (walking out you'll take a right at the stop sign and then it is on your left a couple of buildings down) The airport is also trying to get an airport car lined up.

It was pretty windy but they still had a Helicopter Rodeo where the choppers would hover around and break water balloons with a stick on their skids. Our own Amacbean's Mom and Dad won the flour bombing and there was a smoke jumper demo Parachuting out of a really weird looking turbo prop plane. Mark Peay N913MP talked about his experience of loosing and engine. (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=6047) He is a local guy with a hanger at Spanish Fork. I'm too dumb to post pictures on the thread but I'll try to get some in the gallery later.

Looks like a good time was had by all. :)

Here is the slideshow that I put together for the open house at the airport:

Most of the aircraft in the video are either based at the airfield or spend some quality time there :D

And yes, my mom and dad won the flower bombing contest in our Cessna 170b, which is pretty cool because my mom doesn't like flying and has been up in the plane I think twice before.
