Beautiful downtown Spanish Springs International Regional Continental Airport is a soggy mess. Standing water on the runway, gooey muck and flood ruts about a foot deep. No place for a sissy bird with panties.

She's tucked in at N86. I think I'm gonna go out there and change all the tires right now because it doesn't look like it will dry out any time soon. It wasn't near this bad in '97. The runway has no tracks on it-even the big wheeled guys are staying away.

Wow, what a job. I got home about midnight last night. Not done yet but I'm headed back out to hopefully finish. I put on the 8:50x6 mains with double puck brakes and Snyder brake fairings. I still have to do the tailwheel. Max said he would run the grader today although it is drying out pretty well. If I get the tailwheel on before dark, it give it a shot.....
