Did Sparky say how his student in the Husky from last year was doing?

Not too good. He bought another Husky.

Rob,
At the seminar you mentioned a redesign of your survival vest per Sparky's and other inputs. What is your time line to market of the new design. Will it be available for sale this June? Do you have prices empty vs equipped?
Thanks for any inputs.

I wish to offer a big thank you to Flywriter and the Petaluma Pilots Association for all of their work in organizing the event! There was a great turn out, things went smoothly and the few minor glitches were easily overcome. Lots of people stayed to ask me questions afterwards which I always think is a positive sign.

You sure live in a beautiful part of the country. The flying here looks great. I wish I did not have to go home tomorrow.

If you want to watch my flying progress as I fly home tomorrow you can see it at: http://share.findmespot.com/shared/gogl ... kVpI3UzOeD

P.S. If after I depart O69 my forward progress seems to stop and multiple track points come from a place that is not an airport would you please tell the SAR team where to find me.

To Rob and other pilots from here who made it ~ was a pleasure to be involved with this and get to meet you ... although Iceman, again ... my apologies if you made it and I was clueless as to your "real" identity  ; we had over 20 pilots show up that hadn't registered, so the check-in process kept me on my toes. That's not a complaint though ~ I know Sparky and Rob both are as much about "getting the info itself out there to keep pilot's safe" ~ as they are of course hopeful to get some of their books/equipment out there into the world ... the more pilots hearing what they have to say and teach ~ obviously the safer and more prepared for the unexpected they'll be; it was great to have the turn-out that we did.

Some "how to make it go smoother next time" lessons were learned. And I do hope Rob, that you and Sparky will come back next year ~ great presentations; again – valuable info/instruction offered by you both. Next year we'll get the word out futher ahead of time so people can plan for it and put the date on the calendar; I heard "would have come but already had the weekend booked" a lot.....

I came away with that much more admiration for the pilot "community" and as a writer, that much more foundational information about the nitty-gritty aspects of what you all do....truly grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of all of this.

And to echo Rob's thoughts, the people of the Petaluma Area Pilot's Association were super ~ talk about an enthusiastic group really putting themselves out there to promote and support what they love to do.

And if any of you who were there have any suggestions/comments pro and con to help make this better when there's a next time (positive thinking!) I'd appreciate it if you'd contact me at [email protected] and let me know?

Thanks guys ~ Susan
