Spherical Flying Machine

Saw this on the "other" backcountry-esque forum.

Man, the control of this thing seems so robust that I would not be surprised if this ends up as an exp. aircraft.

That's pretty stunning really. I think of a weapons platform or surveillance first but also something NASA might like to play with.
