Sport Pilot Flight instructor needed in PA

I have a few friends who need an instructor. All 3 own their own airplanes. Two of the guys are heavy and will need an instructor who weighs 165lbs or less. We have no light weight instructors in our circle of friends. I decided to reach out to this group and put an add on Barnstormers.

First guy is a private pilot with a SEL rating that needs a BFR and tailwheel sign off in either an L-16 or Kolb Twin Star. He has alot of hours in tailwheel ultralights.

Second guy is a Private pilot with a SEL rating who hasn't flown in 30 years and bought an Avid Flyer from me and needs recurrency , BFR,and tailwheel training. He owned and flew a Cessna 150 when he was an active pilot.

Third guy Is a Private pilot with a GLIDER rating only. He owns an Avid Flyer and needs to add Sport Pilot to his license. He has a lot of hours in tail wheel ultra lights.

I have a camper on my private airport that an out of town instructor could stay in for a week or so while you work with these guys. They don't expect anything for free.

It might be an oppertunity for a retired CFI to take a little vacation while making a few bucks.

Cliff,

Take a look at SAFE resources: http://www.safepilots.org/member-profil ... -educator/

Might be someone there. This is a chronic problem with LSA flight instruction: Trying to find an instructor AND an examiner who can legally fly with a prospective student.

Good luck.
