For those of you interested in the SPOT messenger, the manufacturer is offering a $50 rebate on units purchased between 11/1/08 and 12/31/08. The rebate form is available here. I have the SPOTs available on skymountaingear.com and BCP members get a 10% discount by entering "BCP" as the coupon code during checkout. That brings the total cost down in to $85, or so.

FYI: The rebate states that it can't be used with other offers, but I called SPOT and they said that the 10% on the entire purchase won't violate the rebate conditions. However, I can't guarantee what they will do.
