Spring in Cessna side window..how to?

The spring that helps hold the side windows up in my 59 182 came loose and disappeared on the PAX window. Has anyone done a replacement and how much work to fix? THX in advance.....

If you can come up with a part number from your manuals, I'm sure Univair will have it. Even if you don't have the number they may be ale to track it down. http://univairparts.com/shopping/index.php

A lot of times the spring just comes off and falls inside the door. Pull the door off and shake upside down and get the spring out. On installing ,I like to use a piece of safety wire and stretch the spring and slide it on. Hope this works out for you...

So did you get it back on? I've got to do the same thing here in a few days. Any advice or tricks would be appreciated!
