Stabilized RPM for EM

Irritated by need for constant throttle change in rough air? Use the elevator for free additional altitude and airspeed. When the RPM increases, due to updraft, pitch up. When the RPM decreases, due to downdraft, pitch down. Stabilize RPM with elevator for ease and efficiency. Extra altitude in updraft, extra airspeed in downdraft. Elevator stabilized RPM. The rougher the air, the more noticeable the increase in altitude in up air and airspeed in down air until the VSI is pegging both ways.

Constant speed propeller will ease the pilot workload, but there is a cost in the free altitude given up. In updraft it will go to coarser pitch. In downdraft it will go to finer pitch. Altitude and airspeed stabilized somewhat, not completely, through automatic propeller pitch change. RPM stabilized through propeller pitch change.
