Stainless Braided Hose (at the caliper)

Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?

Stainless Braided Hose (at the caliper)

So, replacing master cylinder seals, hose at the master cylinder, etc. and got to thinking, maybe should replace the 12" -4 stainless braided hose from the gear leg to the caliper. Was on the airplane when I bought it, so probably a bit long in the tooth. What is a good source for the hose assy? (I want to keep it stainless, braided hose; not interested in Aeroquip 303.)

Snowflake is taken, you'll have to name your snowball something else :lol:

I don't know where you're located, but if you don't have a CSC store, maybe a similar Parker Hanafinn supplier? I walk in with an idea, and 9 times out of 10 I walk out 10 minutes later with a custom fabbed mil spec / AN part for pennies on the dollar compared to an aviation outlet.

Take care Rob

PS; everyone here runs SS Teflon, from the caliper up to the bulkhead fitting and does away with one more leak potential at the rigid line that will work harden.

Is that fairing for the brake line aftermarket or a 180 thing?

It is a 206 Brake line fairing.

Yingling stocks it.

edit;
