Starter for O200 on Champ

Can someone please share the process of adding a push button starter to a Champ with an O200? Curious about cost of parts, labor and time.

Are you converting from a pull starter, or does it not have a starter at all on it right now?

Fresh install. No electrics or pull starter.

Re: Starter for O200 on Champ

Are you doing it via the 0-200 STC? Or is it all going to be field approved?
I have flown a Chief with their 12amp alternator. It’s super light and does a good job.

Hers a link to the key start kit

And the starter

The guys at B&C will help you out with everything, including copies of field approvals if they got them.
Give them a call.

Keep in mind that if you install an alternator, you will be subject to requirements for ADS-B out and/or a transponder.
But you will still be exempt with a battery-only electrical system.
