STC Approval for EarthX Battery in 14V C172

Hi, this is EarthX batteries! We just got STC approval for 14V Cessna 172 Models: 172 A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, L, M, N to install our ETX900-TSO lightweight, smart lithium battery.

Benefits of switching to an EarthX battery:

The weight savings are phenomenal, you replace the Concorde RG-25, a 22.75 pound lead acid battery, with a 5.4 pound EarthX ETX900-TSO battery, an instant weight savings of 17.35 pounds! This weight savings can increase your useful load, save fuel costs, increase climb rate, and have shorter take off roll.

The cold cranking (CCA) of the lead acid battery is only 225, but the EarthX is 390, almost double the cold cranking power!

Improved Handling: Experience better maneuverability and responsiveness in the air.

Quality: Engineered with precision and tested for reliability, ensuring you fly with confidence. This is a FAA TSO approved product! OEM aircraft companies, such as Cirrus, have adopted our technology! This is the future of aviation batteries! We are also AS 9100 D / ISO 9001:2015 certified!

Safety features: Comes with a battery management system that can alert the pilot if something is outside of normal, such as low voltage and the need to charge the battery, and protects the battery from over discharge (leaving the master switch on), over charge, short circuit, and cell balancing built in.

You will find all the documentation and STC paperwork on our website for free!

We are always happy to help, please let us know if you have any questions! Call us at 970-674-8884!

Fly Lightly,

Glad to see approvals of any kind coming down the pipeline! I eagerly await the Stinson 108's, whenever that may be.
