I thought it would be interesting to see what people want for their planes that are not available. Someone might see a need and “go for” a STC.

I fly a Scout, but most of these would work on Citabria’s and Champs. Here is what I want:
1.) A back seat that is really a cooler with a seat back and a cushion. It should have a drain through the belly.
2.) A pilot operated cowl flap and or an oil cooler shudder.
3.) Fenders for the 31 in. bush wheels like you see on old cubs.

Also, not sure if some of these are already available.

If I had a Taylorcraft: Belly/cargo pod, particularly for the F19/22 series. Ski's of course. Bushwheels!

A tri-pacer: nose wheel ski. folding rear seats. bushwheels (or at least 8.5 wheel mod similar to 172... HEAR THAT WUP!?! ).

PA-12: Belly/Cargo pod.

SuperCub: A nose wheel mod!!! Just because.

External load hauling for a 170B?? No reason special, just cuz...

I think I just heard some guns being cocked.

I've read about cases of 170's being retro(?)fitted with nosewheels in the years after their production ended when tricycle gear first became popular.

Uh, all you have to do to get an approval to carry external loads on your 170 is to visit one of the FSDO offices in your part of the world. It takes five minutes, and poof--you got it.

Thanks for the advice, MTV. Actually, if I had it, I'm not sure what I'd do with it. I'm able to get 10' material inside, thanks to the extended baggage.

Just seems like a plane needs snowshoes and a rifle strapped on it somewhere- like jerry cans on a land rover.

I thought you were kidding but when I checked on the Saddle A & B MOA's, they were active about the time I'd planned to fly through.
These Supercub folks have friends in high places.

A C130 did a pass over the airstrip on Saturday, then swung around and did a lower pass.

I would like to see an STC for 850s and Cleveland double puck brakes on the Cessna 170/A/B. All the legal ones out there are field approved, and this is getting harder and harder to do.
