Thanks Bill, I'm thinking about adding wingx and ssk to a 57 182. Might as well do them at the same time. Not sure when I'll do it though.

Take out roll of 100 dollar bills wing x about 10 grand - sportsman add another 5 grand and paint to match. I'd just do the Sportsman STOL and try it out - think you'll be pretty impressed with change . Wing X is good for float operators because they are always outside -- wing clearance on hanger is not a issue. We have a hanger with 40 ft. door and 210 with flint tip tanks just barely fits . I take you got New Jersey airplane .

Thanks for the advice. I passed on the Jersey plane and have a pre buy planned for a 182 down here in Texas. We'll see if everything checks out. I will definitely keep you posted.
