STILL LOOKING for a VDO Tach.

Sometimes the most fun way to get into the backcountry, Part 103 Ultralights and Light Sport Aircraft have their own considerations.

STILL LOOKING for a VDO Tach.

STILL LOOKING for a VDO Tach..

Posted this on several sites.

ISO 52mm / 2 1/16" VDO Tachometer. I am looking for a replacement Tach for my aircraft. The one I have is a VDO and was hoping someone might have an old one laying around they are not using. This type came with many different kits in the 90's. The original builder put all the engine instruments very close together and I am having an issue finding a replacement that will fit in the panel.

I clled Lockwood and even contacted VDO. Apparantly VDO no longer makes this Tach so I am hoping someone has gone to glass panel and may have one in the pile of parts.

I still like the old school guages with needles/pointers. I got an Aviasport tach only to find out it won't fit into the panel.
I installed a cheap tiny tach for the time being, but really would like another replacement to fill the holw in the panel.

:(

Thanks!!
