Stinson 108 extended cargo.
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Has anyone recently installed a particular extended baggage kit, with the fabric on, that they really liked?

No, but I would like to know if anyone has paperwork to install a ski tube or fishing rod tube in a Stinson

We are working on doing one on my Stinson right now. Not sure what my mechanic friend has come up with, but will probably match one that has already been done . My plane is covered already. My old 108-3 also had one that was done after fabric. It had adel clamps attached to existing fuselage tubes with aluminum angles bolted to the adel clamps with a honey comb panel on top bolted to the angles.

In looking at the 6 Stinson 108s I watch over only 1 has tube extention in back of regular baggage compartment - a long tube capable of several skis. Think there's a decal that says max load 15 lbs.

I'm working on a ski-tube...no schematics yet though. I am referencing the fishing pole tube mentioned in an earlier post found on the Stinson Yahoo site.
I'd be interested in anyone's schematics..

My Stinson 108-2 does not have the wooden baggage compartment. It has an aluminum tray and a canvas "tent" that snaps onto the seat back bulkhead and a frame on the aft area.
