Saw this really nice stinson with float attachments, I think ski attachments, new interior and a big engine parked next to a friends plane at KSLC. I think a 108 that had been upgraded to a Super Stinson.
One of the nicer Stinsons I have seen.
Anyone know this plane?

Yes there was. The inside was very nice also. Someone put a lot of time and money into this.

Yeah I guess it just showed up a few months ago and has not flown much. Any idea what the asking price was?

That plane was in Brigham City a few years ago. My memory sucks, but it seems like a couple guys from Logan had bought it and were getting tailwheel training in Brigham. Nice plane, seems like it came with wheels, floats, and skis. I think they were going to take it to Alaska or something. Doesn't it have "tweet bird" or something like that painted on it?

It did show signs where it said tweet bird but it was removed.

Sounds in the range for what the plane looked like.

Altitude is Time…. Airspeed is Life!
I called on a nice looking 165 hp Stinson in Vancouver, WA...no one has called back, but if it checked out I would buy it.
