Take a hard look at Pacers. They're reasonably priced & are good performers, esp if you make an effort to lighten them up & do a few simple mods (VG's, flatter prop, tires, etc). Huge cargo bay with the back seat out with easy access via the back door, and reasonable cargo bay even with the back seat in for kids.
