Thanks guys. I'm happy with the way she turned out!

Will be nice to have with all the freezing and thawing going on here at home and PA. MUD EVERYWHERE.

Sometimes being based at grass fields is not that glorious.

Wowza, good work. Best looking 182 I've ever seen. Love the black hub caps.

Sounds like Matt and I might be able to stop and see it in person in a couple weeks, hopefully that works out.

Yeah the smooth 8.50. That's the second plane I put them on, so far so good. They are only a pound or two heavier than the 6.00x6

It's got big tires. Good enough! Not much thread drift in my eyes.

Re: Strait Tail 182's

I just finished putting 8.5 mains and 8.0 w/ Landis on the nose of my swept tail 182 and was shocked today when I tried to climb up to look into the wing tanks. Dang step is HIGH now. I'm 6'2" and I had to really throw my foot up there. I felt like I might require a step stool.

Anybody else same problem?

Re: Strait Tail 182's

What's needed is for the tire to be relocated forward of the wingstrut so you can use it as a step.
