Strip near Silver Creek Rd, Rams Horn area, east Idaho.

Not sure what the real name is, My inlaws refer to it as "the lodge", I have also heard "Rams Horn"

20 miles from Salmon Vor on about the 224 radial.
44 52' 39.75" 114 27' 20.12"

going there after the fourth.

Anyone been there? any pointers?

I have a google earth bookmark, but don't know how to share it here.

Nice videos! Thanks for posting these. So what's the name? Is it Triple Creek? Do they have cabins and/or breakfast? Thanks.

Ramshorn

It's called Rams horn.. use to be a commercial operation from the 30's until the late seventies. Now it's in private hands. an LLC owns it. about 20 partners. My inlaws have a few shares.
lots of history to the place. It has a Zane Gray cabin, He spent a year there, exploring the surrounding area and wrote the book "thunder mountain" while he was there.
next year when I go in, I'll have to take my "panties" off... and the back seat out, and put on a bigger nose wheel tire... etc.
