I have subscribed to multiple forums that I am interested in following and posting in, however I don't seem to be receiving any email alert notifications when new threads are posted. Is that because I didn't subscribe or configure my notification settings properly? Or because I'm a new member and don't have enough posts to enable this feature? Or is it because the "Subscribe forum" feature is not configured on the server to generate an automatic email notification when new posts are made? Without these notifications (or a daily digest email), users have to come back and refresh the site to see what they missed. Or does everybody use an app with push notifications instead (not my preferred method)? Thanks in advance for any help.

I get tired of all the email alerts, so I mostly just use the following as my "shortcut" and go straight to the new items. Make sure you login first, or do the "keep me logged in" option...

I don’t get email notification for any subscribed topic either. I just checked and I’m subscribed to several but I never receive an email notice.

I really prefer the daily summary type notices, but I'm not seeing them here.
