Sullivan Lake runway

What is the present condition of the Sullivan Lake runway. I am thinking of going there but I read that the runway could be rough due to squirrels, etc.

Re: Sullivan Lake runway

Besides pireps, you can also contact the state airports guy at WS-DOT.
They usually have pretty current intel on the condition of the state-owned airstrips.
Paul Wolf retired, a guy named John Wilson is his replacement.

I'd appreciate a pirep if/when you go,
I've never been but intend to remedy that this summer.
Thanks.

Re: Sullivan Lake runway

When you headed over? Weather depending I was heading over there on Saturday and can get a PIREP on it, best is to call the state as hotroad180 noted. I did see an email from the RAF saying the below so I would assume it's in pretty good shape.

"We’re working with the new WSDOT Aviation Manager, John Wilson, to help with state airport cleanups. He reports that Sullivan Lake is in such good shape that no action is needed this year." ~Ray Ballantyne, RAF Washington State Liaison
