For those that didn't hear about it this year, there was a Bushwheels Base Camp at Sun N Fun this year, and Anitra did an awesome job organizing everything. I was able to fly in and camp under the wing in the base camp along side the National STOL Series competitors....but it was much more than that. It was just a fun place to hangout all day and watch the airshow or meet new friends and talk to everyone. It was fun to be able to fly in to the ultralight grass strip, and to volunteer some and help out. There are talks of trying to get a similar setup at Oshkosh this year, so if anyone has any pull there reach out to Anitra and help out. I made a video of my experience flying in to Sun N Fun, but I just wanted to share that the Bushwheels Base Camp was an awesome experience, and you should keep it on your radar if you make it down to Sun N Fun next year.....
