Sunday Morning Johnson Creek

Is there any kind of formal or informal Sunday morning gathering for worship?

Not that I know of. There may be something in Yellow Pine if not the closest would be McCall or Cascade....

Thanks for the info, guys. If there was a common area to meet, we could gather for a couple of worship songs, and a short message. Anyone out there with a guitar that can lead us in a couple of songs? I would be willing to share a short message.

HMMM a guitar player. That would mean that someone of us has talent. I don't think there's a hint of talent in this bunch. :-({|=

I do a lot of deep thinking and remembrances of my son Jeff when I'm there usually. He never got to go but we talked of both of us spending time up there together. So if there's a sunday get together count me in... :)

Butch,
I haven't experienced that kind of loss. I'll bet you have some great memories of Jeff.

I do know that we all do some deep reflecting when surrounded by the majesty of the mountains. Thanks for supporting this idea.

Count me in if I can get those instructors at Mc CAll to turn me loose on those poor Mountains. Mark I am afraid I am one of Butch's no talent bunch :D

Sunrise Service?

It's been suggested that we have a sunrise service.

Thoughts on that :?:

I'm more into the sunrise. Some folks start heading home by 7-9 ish.

Cheers...Rob

Sunrise is liable to be a bit noisy, what with the screaming, receding, echos of the mach-1+, Long Prop Serenade, being played over, and over, and over etc.

It is better to be late in this world, than early in the next.

Yeah SkyMaule, It's gotta be a short one as most leave as soon as the sun lightens up the sky and melts the ice off the wings and windshields...Oh did I forget to mention the Ice in the morning. Depending on how many planes are there the mornings are like an ORI at a Sac Base during the old cold war. One departure barely leaves the ground and the next is rolling...

We had a nice little gathering on Sunday Morning at JC. Where we talked about JC. Read some scripture, shared a little, prayed and then went flying. Hope we can do this again next year.

Hi Rob,
It was sure great to meet you out there! And thanks for being there Sunday morning! Look forward to spending more time at Johnson Creek with good people like you and Steve.

Would love to go to Oshkosh. Just not in the cards.
