Re: SuperCub Flyin at Johnson Creek

Also, if anyone here knows JoeCub (Coyote Uglys son), is wife is putting on a 40th birthday bash at JC August 7, 8, & 9.

I like what Red wrote about schedule of events.

"EVENTS SCHEDULE: What, are you crazy? This is a Dory event. There is NO schedule, and there are NO rules!"

I plan to go at least one of the days. Should be fun!

Sounds like a great reason to go back to Idaho and wish joecub a happy b day. Seeings how I won't make Austin, scheduling conflict. F#@$. Pat you going to come by during the SC fly N? Bushwheel raffle!

I'm sure the wife won't care that I'm gone to OSH home for 3 days and gone again. [-X

Re: SuperCub Flyin at Johnson Creek

I think it looks like it should be good weather. I am planning to come up just for the day on Friday. Maybe go a couple places like Mile Hi and Dewey Moore. Haven't been to either of them for about 2 years. Maybe Lower Loon for the hot springs.

Re: SuperCub Flyin at Johnson Creek

Damn!! I wussed out on going. I should have at least tried, but the weather didn't look good up that way from Caldwell (atleast from what I saw). This morning I couldn't even see the Butte from my house and it's only 5 miles away. I heard a few guys headed that way (I should have ask to follow them). Maybe next time.

I flew to Murphy for a burger instead. Then flew over to Owyhee Res., then up to Ontario, Weiser and was going to land at Midvale but wussed out again. Strong crosswind and a pretty good rain storm coming. So I headed east over Crane Creek Res. then over to Ola and up to High Valley. Turned around in High Valley then headed back for Caldwell. Had fun after all.

They were unlucky this year. The weather sucked the whole time. It was also cold, look at them on the web cam, sitting around huddled up. Looks like they're all stuck there for a while too.
