I've been using sleeping bags and tents from a company called Snugpak (British). They have been making high-performance cold weather gear for the British, Australian, and US Special Forces for some time. I first saw the stuff in Afghanistan a year or so ago. Packs small,light and keeps you warm. I highly recommend the stuff and I see that Aircraft Spruce is now carrying it. They pack so small I can keep one for my wife and one for me, plus a small tent in the 180 without taking up much space. It really does work so I thought I'd pass it on.
