OK Guys,
Finally finishing up the spray season and able to get back to some other fun flying. Took a quick trip on Tuesday morning to look at some camp sites for Friday night and do a general scout. Here it is;
Left GNG flew up over Fairfield and couch summit towards Greene Valley Ranch/Atlanta then on to Graham. Landed Graham. Then departed towards Weatherby and on over Bumgartner then Pine and the Tracy strip. Finally landed one of the reservoir beaches and back to GNG.
Notes for fellow aviators; quite smokey but I believe this cold front today will clear most of this out. ATL/Greene valley looked good (206 on the runway at ATL) Graham was super no one around at all (going to be getting chilly in the mornings though). Weatherby and Bumgartner also good (NICE "cabin" going up on one of the sold lots next to the runway at B-gartner). Air attack Skycrane setup at Pine along with a Huey (can't land at present). Tracy rough as usual, and the reservoirs are going down so the beach strips are back!
Alsoplanning a steelhead trip to the Snake soon if anyone is interested, that is why I did the scouting during the S-cub flyin!
