Swisstrax for hangar floor.

Has anyone had any Swisstrax flooring on hangar floors? I saw it at Barrett Jackson
yesterday and was really impressed. My old epoxy is coming up and is a real pain
to remove and redo. The Swisstrax is fairly simple to install and quite a bit cheaper
and you can do some really neat designs.
Thanks....

Re: Swisstrax for hangar floor.

I've got a friend with a similar flooring to the ribtrax installed in his garage where stores a couple of classic/exotic cars. It's looks cool in his spotless garage, but isn't great for actually working on cars, as any small thing you drop goes into the grooves. Fluids that are spilled are hard (impossible) to wipe up. I wouldn't want it in my hangar with my leaky old plane that gets owner maintenance. Vinyltrax would presumably work better.

Does not look like a good product if you are working on it. Storing perfect cars and plane on it would be fine.
