Tahoe area flying and Reno Air Races

Not necessarily information about airstrips or airports, but more general info about a greater area or a route of flight.

Tahoe area flying and Reno Air Races

Anyone coming to the Air Races this year? Just an idea but we could share some cool areas to fly here and then the air races of course! Its only a month away.....

I'm just down the hill from you on the Ca side, planning to attend Reno but probably just the last couple of days. Always game for some local flying too...

Does anyone have anymore info on the area around Reno? I have been contemplating taking a few weeks and flying around the western US. My main plan is to fly from MN to AZ and visit my son in Prescott and then down to southern AZ to see my duaghter and her family. From there possibly head over to Reno.

Anyone already at the races or planning to attend this weekend? I'm planning to head up for the day saturday, happy to meet any other BCPers there.
