Hey guys, i have a question, when i was a student pilot, i got my tail wheel sign off, and it carries over when i was a private pilot and now commercial right? I don't see why it wouldn't. but just curious.

The faster I go , the farther behind I get.
Unfortuantly when you get your commercial the tail wheel size changes and you need to do it again...

If it looks smooth, it might be. If it looks rough, it is...www.bigtirepilot.com ...www.alaskaheliski.com
Tom, you are qualified. I seen those landing at the fly in and you are good to go.

Thanks, i got my endorsement in AK before I had my private. Do you happen to know if anyone got some pictures? I thought I bounced it pretty good, but after fling small tires on pavement realize the 31's sure have some give.

Tom , from my view it looked like no bounce at all. My runway is a little bumpy on that end. You looked like an old pro to me.

The reg states that you must have the endorsement to fly tailwheel. It doesn't expire and no further endorsement is needed once you gain the rating. I have endorsed students to fly solo and for tailwheel at the same time so they can solo the 7AC.
I personally think everyone should solo in a tailwheel...it would save a lot of work learning to fly later...
