Tailwheel Option

My tailwheel tire is about due for replacement it's a OEM Scott 3400. What are my options for replacement? I've seen the ABW webpage.

Re: Tailwheel Option

I replaced my Scott 3200 with the ABW 3400 last April and am really pleased with the quality. They were also very easy to deal with over the phone. ABW also gives you an option for adding a tie-down ring to the assembly, which I liked.

That doesn't really answer your question, but if you were looking for some feedback on the ABW...

Just now realized you were talking replacing the tire -- disregard my rambling! Sorry

Re: Tailwheel Option

Convert it to nose wheel. A 600x6 works well. =D>

Re: Tailwheel Option

If you still have the stock 180 stinger, I would call ABW and convert to their heavy duty 185 version before yours breaks like my buddy's did last summer. It is a big improvement over the stock one.

Hhmmmm, let's see........ if I'm not mistaking, that happened at Sulphur Creek??? That pilot must have lost concentration and situational awareness because of the two cute cowgirls greeting the pilot as he was trying to taxi his plane to the parking area [-X [-X
