Take Off fuel flow, O-470 Carb. Engine

Hi,

After 50 years of flying all kind of birds I am a total newbie using a JPI Eng. monitor, more so on a carburated engine.
O-470 R on a C-180C.
Engine is factory reman with 80hrs TT and only with some 12hrs with the monitor. Whish I had installed it at engine change.

Downloaded the data and was surprised to see how slow the FF is to reach its maximum take off value.
One can see that once TO Pwr. is reached FF is only showing 12.3gpm, EGT´s are at 1477-1499 at that point and start decreasing as FF increases to its Max. of 20.6 but this can be Aprox. 25 sec. later which is a long time. (Feel FF should reach some 22-23gpm at SL and be a little faster to get there or ?)
One can see that as FF increases after EGT´s have reached its maximum this last ones start to decrease, in line with the delay in FF rise indication. Not a fuel injected engine I know.

CHT´s are below 380, not shown in the graph´s which I will post soon.

Would appreciate if you can post graph´s of your straight O-470 Carb. engine for a S.L. T/O to compare. OAT was Aprox.90F

If you don´t have a graph, please provide the Max FF and EGT´s that you get pls.
