Tangri-la/Caveman Fly Out Favorites

Hey everyone,

So we are a little over a month away from the fly-in and I thought that it would be a good idea to get those of you with a lot of experience in that area to share some of your favorite fly out locations. I've only spent a little bit of time down that way and would like to know some of your favorite hikes, places to fly out to and eat, things to go see and do, etc.

Is Needles still closed? I've been to MV for breakfast. Any other favorites? I've heard that Cliffdwellers is pretty good.

Anyway, please share you favorites!

Mineral Canyon and Mexican Mountain are both among my favs. When I was there last June I hiked a short ways to the petroglyphys at mex mtn and there's an old mine just that's a short hike from mineral. I was wanting to hike around some more, but being solo and having the OAT over 100°F I was limited.

I know the area pretty well, just not by plane. Good topic.

I don't know about now but years ago my sun and I used a black light exploring mines around mineral and got a lot of green glowing.

I am sure the Greene's have them all safe now

Two years ago when we went the same mine we could only get back about 1/8 mile we used to go much further so I guess they blasted shut where you could get radiation.

I must have spent two much time in them because my last three kids were born naked =D> =D>
