Tangrila in Utah

Ok, what's the deal with Tangrila? I want to fly in there and stay over in the cool cave rooms, but I don't want to fly in without permission and get the owner pissed off. But I can't ever get a hold of him. Does anyone know what to do? I have his supposed phone number in Vegas, and I had the number for his place in Moab once. Is it ok to just show up? Thanks in advance.

I was able speak with Bud this spring and he said his attorney has advised him not to give permission to land.

He did ask that if by chance I had some carb ice on my way by that I tell Butch (his nephew) hi.

I highly doubt you'll be able to spend a night, but if you have a gift to offer Butch he'll give you a heck of a tour. (my copy of Fly Utah! was exchanged for a very impressive tour)

I have heard that Bud's health is unstable and also that the runway has been closed some. I would proceed carefully, good luck.

It's amazing how often I'll get carb ice...
Thanks for the advice, I'll proceed with due caution and let everyone know what I find out. Thanks.
