Why do you assume it doesn't? :)

Although, the choice to buy the Tapatalk app is yours. I cannot guarantee continued support as I plan to change forum software with the release of the new site. But the way that's going you may have plenty of time to enjoy the app.

Re: Tapatalk

I had searched and didn't find it... I'll try it again. Thanks.

Re: Tapatalk

Just search for "backcountry" and it should automatically appear as the only search result.

I just added the app so I could post pictures. When I try to 'start uploading' it tries & then says upload failed. Any idea what could be the issue? I tried 3 times & no luck.

Try again. I did not realize there was a queue of mobile group users waiting to be approved.

Re: Tapatalk

If Vick sees this he will laugh his ass off at me, since I've been so resistant to the new "yuppie technology", and even made some fun of his love of the gizmos, but just bought um, my wife, an iPhone. Oddly, BCP now appears on the home page, and *someone* has downloaded Tapatalk. Now what do I do with it? :?

Re: Tapatalk

:D congrats Bill - that was quite a leap from LORAN to an iPhone but aren't you an EE? You should neon this like white on rice. As for me, I can't get tapatalk/BCP to work anymore, a problem I attribute to the compound effect of my liberal arts degree and a legacy iPhone 3G. Mercifully my 1st gen iPad is still hacking it so I can feed the addiction for now. I'm got high hopes for Verizon/iPhone 5, that ought to get me back on tapatalk. In the meantime I'll keep an eye out for you on facebook...

Re: Tapatalk

Don't joke about LORAN- I'm still sore about that.

So are you telling me that my wife's brand spankin' new iPhone 3G is already obsolete?! Actually, I'm hoping that 3G will become the better service as the tech addicts start shellin' out the bucks and abandoning the old service for 4G, then 5G, then who knows!

I still do not own anything other than my old dumb as a brick 10 year old cell phone, but just as I became addicted to my Garmin 296 my generous friends bought me for my birthday a few years ago (I think I never would have bought it for myself), I have also been using Tracy's iPhone from time to time.

This weekend after flying GPS direct to Sunset beach, I found myself cruising BCP on her phone from the beach cottage. All this stuff is making us soft and spoiled!

But since I'm now hooked, did I waste $3.99 on Tapatalk?

No, Tapatalk is great. I use it everyday. I'll add you to the mobile group so you can upload photos from your device.

Re: Tapatalk

Thanks Z! Now I just have to figure out how to use it. This Apple stuff is completely foreign to me.

Re: Tapatalk

Ah - brilliant! You make it sound so easy. I'll try it as soon as my wife returns from the grocery store (with her new iPhone)!

I like how your example is a clip from the infamous LORAN thread! :D
