I updated the server side component of the Tapatalk system this afternoon and my iOS app stopped pulling fresh data. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting and finally came to the conclusion that my version of Tapatalk Pro app on my iPhone. which I've used for the last few years, has become incompatible. I installed the normal Tapatalk app and it seems to work okay.

Tapatalk Pro continued used the old brown background icon, whereas the new app is a white background.

I can't get the mail TT to work on my phone. Old messages are there, but not any new ones.

Mike do you mean private messages?

There are two different PM systems on the site: The forum based (accessible by Tapatalk) and the Community/main website PM system. They are not synced. I have to write a synchronization mechanism so that you can PM someone in Tapatalk and have it appear in the main website.

TT is running strong on my iPhone 3 with the iOS 7.1.2. Gives me a happy holidays message every time I log in because that was the last update before bumping to iOS 8. When TT stops working on the phone it will be time for it to have itself a little accident.
