Tapatalk Issues

Is Tapatalk still the best way to use the forum from a mobile device? I don’t see subscribed topics correctly, clicking on subscribed tab generates a SQL error, and there are other issues. I can’t seem to send DMs directly to Zane. Is this normal?

This is from an iPhone X with all the iOS updates fwiw.

Re: Tapatalk Issues

Yes normal. Zane is not a big fan of the product, I think he holds on to it for luddites like myself who struggle with the picture posting function otherwise.

Re: Tapatalk Issues

Yes it is normal. PMs haven't worked fir a few years now. Thankfully Zane keeps it for us mobile users even though it's a pain in his ass.

Re: Tapatalk Issues

Tapatalk is a time bomb.

Don't post pictures using the app unless you don't mind them disappearing forever without any recourse.

Re: Tapatalk Issues

I'm sorry all, but I'm planning on removing Tapatalk altogether. I personally haven't used it in years, and like Aryana said, it's a time bomb of disappointment.

Re: Tapatalk Issues

Zane has done a great job with KISS, in the opinion of an old man who carefully tries not to touch in the wrong place on his cromebook. The phone is too small for my old worn fingers so I don't use it. Why do I get email to come up, out here in the country, when BCP will not sometimes? I assume it is more complicated than email. I didn't fly complex airplanes (I used a normal aviation word) because I do not do complex things well. I think it is amazing that Zane has made it possible for an old man to use his site. Was the sale thing a joke I didn't get?

Re: Tapatalk Issues

No problem, just curious. I'm going to delete it completely.
