Teletype software
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
Has anyone else out there tried the Teletype GPS software for laptops and PDAs? I've had it for over a year and it's failed on me 4 out of 5 flights on my Dell Axim X5 Advanced PDA. I've gone back to my Garmin 195.
Is anyone out there using any other PDA software?
Cheers

I used the Teletype GPS for a while in a non flying application, as well as other PocketPC GPS packages. I have not been impressed. The hardware I used was just a compact flash GPS receiver that inserted into the PDA, and on boot, it always seemed to take forever to acquire satellites. The Teletype GPS software just seems to need to mature as well. After that, I would defintely choose a dedicated GPS unit over a integrated PDA solution.
