Good advice above:
Would only add that, like a lot of products, they tend to overstate what they can COMFORTABLY accommodate. I usually divide the advertised number of people in half. Depends on how long you might get STUCK inside. "Average" camping, where you can leave your gear outside and only need to dive in to retreat from bugs or for private snuggies, then a two person tent might suffice. If you may end up stormed in for several days then I would use a four person tent for two people with all gear out of the weather and accessible. Only camped in the dessert a couple times out near Ballarat, big lesson was Ballast at Ballarat - Ice coolers, rocks, spare tires, etc. inside the tent or the wind may relocate it some distance away. They can roll like a tumbleweed.
An occasional, nap of the earth, jet jockey has been known to put on a good low pass show with associated effects of localized air flow. Nearly contactflyers.
When I used to sell some of these, first time shoppers were usually surprised by the price and would usually want to think it over a while. I always asked them to contemplate the difference between the price and the potential cost.
