Pretty neat. The article says that jumping from 30,000 feet, the thing can glide 125 miles. Hmmm. That would make a glide ratio of 22:1. I don't believe that.

If I recall there was a movie about these flying outfits... "Gypsy Moths" with Burt Lancaster and I think Gene Hackman.

The truth will set you on the path to being free
If that's the same thing I saw a video of a few weeks back, I think it's powered by a pair of small turbojets. That might account for the 125nm range...

this is a different one than the one with the turbines on it. Both are pretty cool.
A helmet with HUD and O2, now that would be good also.

Somewhere I have a picture of a Airborne soldier in the air to air mode. He has a Claymore strapped to his forehead, clacker in his right hand and is closing on a Mig. Maybe something similar for this?

Ya know the airlines ought to get in on this

It would reduce delays and loss of baggage! They can fly a route and out you go within 100 miles near your destination with all your baggage.

Sounds like a hell of a good idea to me,that program just might make me want to take an airline again

(then again you would still have to deal with an airport full of idiots and sit in that aluminum tube full of germs)Screw that, Ill keep hucking myself out of my 180 whenever I can get someone to drive it for me
