Anybody know if there are any open cafes on Texada Island?

I believe the one restaurant is closed. However Courtenay air park has Donna’s cafe at the end of the runway plus a host of other places within a 15 min walk.

The Ravenous Raven closed unfortunately. There are two in Van Anda, neither that great, and it’s a long way. The concession at Shelter Point is open for the summer, but it’s about twice as far as Gillies Bay. If you PM me I might be able to lend you my truck.

Julie’s Cafe at Powell River is nice, about 500m from the flying club. To the right (East) when you leave the airport.
