Texas STOL Roundup is now a BCP sponsor

I'm happy to announce that our own Barnstormer, organizer of the Texas STOL Roundup fly-in and STOL competition has come aboard as a BCP advertising partner under the official title of Texas STOL Roundup.

I attended the event in 2014, its first year at Llano. Had a great time and made some new friends, even made a little video about it. They've since outgrown the field at Llano and have moved to Hondo, TX, which has a lot more parking.

I hope to attend again this year.

Mark your calendars for September 28-30 at Hondo Airport, TX (KHDO) and come on out! Visit the official Texas STOL Roundup page for more details about rules & registration, competing, spectating, camping, etc.

Hmm, this might be a fun way to spend a weekend! Not unrealistically far from here either.

Thanks for supporting BCP Barnstormer! I've been wanting to attend the Roundup for years. Maybe this will be the year. Hopefully in both MT and TX.

Wait, what’s in MT? Do I need to plan a road trip? Well, not a toad trip, but you know...

AOPA is having one of their quarterly fly-ins. Here is the link to what I posted here about it:

Thanks for sponsoring Phil! Wish I could fit Hondo into my schedule but that's not likely to happen for a while. Hoping for a very successful event this year for all working hard to make it happen.

Hadn't watched that video in years Zane, made me smile haha!

While I am no part of it, the TX STOL Roundup crew is made up of many volunteers that are very involved, they all deserve a huge shout out for making this event happen, and making it successful enough to be a sponsor here!!! Way to go y'all [emoji16] Where the boots hit the ground, Mr. Jimmy Gist, makes this thing a reality; buy that man a beer if u meet him folks [emoji1360]

Great job Phil. If you are ever driving or flying through again you know where to stop! I hope to make it down to one of your events soon.
