Thank god for Xm weather

Just flew from Colorado to Pittsburgh and dodged all of the tornados and thunderstorms. Love my Garmin 396 handheld. Electric failure and your gps will still run strong.. Worth every penny.

Re: Thank god for Xm weather

I own a concrete supply and concrete construction co. on several occasions had many people cancel deliveries and our company poured concrete based on XM info. It has already paid for it self many times over. When everyone canceled I told the dispatcher, I'm either very bright or very stupid and that he would know at the end of the day. XM made me look like an Einstein. I also love my 496 and don't leave the ground with out it. =D>

I have it too. It is not perfect but 1000X better than the alternative.

Good day

I love the XM WX too, It really helps your situational awareness on long crosscountries. I'm sure glad I had it on my flight to California.
