Thank You BCP.org!

I've been flying nearly all my life and never knew about all the amazing places to visit in Idaho (I'm from Northern Utah!). Thanks to this site, I have been enlightened.

My wife talked Grandma into babysitting the small untamed children we live with so we could take a break and head north to Smiley and Sulphur Creek. We had a blast!

Here's a quick video I made from the shots and clips from my phone. Kind of a low-quality video, but surely a high-quality place! Be sure to watch in HD!

Very nice! Where in northern Utah are you? I'm in Ogden.

Ernie! Sorry to hear you won't make. Friday can't come fast enough.

Thanks Guys!

Grassstrip, I'm out of Mountain Green (42U). I''ve seen some of your family flying vids... awesome! We would be doing that too but need a bigger plane.

Tom, I provide you with footage of real airplanes like Wolfgang's 180 on 29's and Ray's 185 and you ask me for footage of my 140? That's like asking for a hot dog after you just had prime rib! :D
Check my youtube channel (wonderboy680), there should be a bunch there.

Ya, my 6 year old boy and I will be coming, along with my uncle and aunt in their 182. We will be heading out early Friday morning.

Great! Looking forward to meeting you. Adam just turned 6 two days ago. His school doesn't get out until mid-day on Friday and we'll leave as soon as he is out. I'd rather be leaving in the morning, but my wife didn't want him to miss his last day. So, we will be bouncing up in the afternoon.

Re: Thank You BCP.org!

Haven't watched the video yet, but was nice seeing you both right after you landed at Sulphur Creek. Should have asked if you were on the forum. Glad you had a good trip. Hope the "safety delay for weather" at Sulphur didn't overwhelm your babysitter.

Re: Thank You BCP.org!

Hey Matt, which one were you and were you flying in one of the Glastars? We met a lot of new people. We played that "safety delay" for all it was worth! Luckly the babysitter didn't know there was a webcam at Sulphur Creek. We would have been busted! :D

Grassstrip, my boy turns 6 on Friday at JC! Looks like they're only a few days apart.

Re: Thank You BCP.org!

Very cool. With the exception of his first birthday, every other birthday up to this year has been on our annual summer flying trip. If it weren't for school, it would have been the same this year. Last year it was on the Saturday and he had 100ish people singing happy birthday to him at the potluck...something he has not forgotten and that was very cool.

See you Friday,
Cory

Re: Thank You BCP.org!

I was taking some folks out in the tired looking but great flying 206 for SP Aircraft. You guys were carrying in your pitance of luggage and a pillow. Did the Glasair and Sportsman folks stay the night as well? Working Friday and Saturday, so won't make it to JC. You all have fun. Matt
