The Kid Who Steals Planes

Read this in the print version, in the comfort of my bathroom, but lucky for you guys they posted it online too.

Interesting insight on the little bastard.

And, the latest news on the bandito. He may have stolen another one, no word yet if it was crash-landed like the others.

It all starts at home, his mom is quite the treat.

It makes me sick when the news media makes people look like some type of legend, when they are criminals.

Keep paying your taxes, he is costing us plenty!!!

Yeah, I caught a short interview of her. Definitely a case of the apple not falling too far from the tree.

They are...

Sounds like our Junior Birdman is off and running again today. CNN is drooling all over the little bastard's adventures, and today's airplane theft and destruction. Hopefully soon he picks the wrong house to break in to and winds up getting a good dose of 12 gauge up the ass.

I think this is Zane's alter ego. Can this site be kept up from prison? That is between visits from Buba of course.

Re: The Kid Who Steals Planes

I think the kid has more flight hours than Z but they both land in a similar manner. :P

I DO hope that when this little pr--k is caught he has to repay every cent he has cost people, after he is beaten and spend a few months in traction.

F**k that beaten stuff. Just shoot the son of a bitch and save the taxpayers millions over his lifetime. And let's hope he hasn't reproduced yet.

My sediments exactly. I'm just hoping that scenario isn't played out in reverse and that this asshole gets stopped (one way or another) before he hurts someone. And keep in mind this "kid" is no pipsqueak- he's 6'5" & 200 pounds.
I just googled this guy's name & found references to "a modern day Huck Finn" and a link to the Colton Harris Moore Fan Club. Unbelievable!

Hey, just because I fly it like I stole it doesn't mean I did.

Ha ha ha... That reminds me of a quote from a movie, "Strange Brew". "Just because I don't know what it is, doesn't mean I'm lying." LOL

This article tends to cast him in that "lovable outlaw" light too, and is pretty sympathetic & apologetic in places -- what a bunch of BS. The more of the article you read, however, the more it shows how wacked out his mom is: "...if he flew those planes, I'm very, very proud of him..." , and she's gonna get him a bullet-proof vest and insist that he wear it: "sometimes a mother has to put her foot down".
I think the glory will go out of his rampage when "this little bastard" ( as Zane referred to him ) breaks into an occupied cabin or tries a carjacking, and ends up hurting someone or getting killed himself. Or tries a "you'll never take me alive" with the cops.

Re: The Kid Who Steals Planes

OK, I think I can get him, but it will get me in some trouble with some of the BCPs. Let me off this time fellows, it is for a good cause.

Assuming the perp just idolizes himself, he will be reading this site. So, here goes:

Hey you sissy why are you stealing 172s?

You are a woose unless you try to fly a real mans airplane.

Try getting away in a tail dragger.

Dare you!!
