The Legend of Pancho Barnes

I'd previously heard a little bit about Pancho Barnes when reading "The Right Stuff", but here's her whole colorful life, condensed into an hour. Interesting and Entertaining!

Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process... :)
With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).

I watched this on Netflix. Very good! Interviews with Chuck Yeager and Bob Hoover.

Re: The Legend of Pancho Barnes

I think it was last year (some sort of anniversary) out at Edwards AFB. My brother was involved in putting it together. They had an actress-pilot portray Poncho.

She flew in in a Stearman and she was to go around insulting everyone, etc. But when she climbed out of the Stearman she ripped the seat out of her pants and she would not get up out of her chair. Poncho would have continued parading around with her undies showing ( if she even had any).
